Liliana, a young artist, arrives at her studio to attempt to create work. As she begins to paint, she is almost immediately confronted with memories of her past lover. She attempts to push these memories from her mind, but is ultimately unable to as each time she paints, another memory sparks in her mind. She stops painting in order to collect herself, before looking back at her work. She sees that a large yellow image has appeared on her work – an image she did not paint herself. She chucks the work aside in order to begin a new one. Later in the day and in the midst of her latest work, her friend, Gizelle arrives. Gizelle checks on Liliana, bringing her food and reminding her to take care of herself. She leaves, telling Liliana that she loves her. Liliana settles down to continue painting. As she touches her brush to the canvas, she becomes consumed by yellow paint which runs up her arms. This moment is interrupted by the sound of her ex-lover. She begins to live the memory of the day he left her. The story unfolds...
