AFDA goes live with AFDA alumna - Nosipho Dumisa

South African Netflix Original Series director of the globally acclaimed series “Blood and Water” is a young, passionate storyteller who is fierce in her craft. The well-travelled AFDA alumna is going live with us on IGTV, giving us the opportunity to know more of who she is, her inspirations, and the making of the series which is ranked in the top ten internationally on Netflix.

Nosipho comes with over 10 years of entertainment industry experience, a SAFTA Golden Horn award and nominations, and international film festival wins of her 2018 film “Nomber 37,” produced under Gambit films. Gambit films is a production company Nosipho created with her AFDA student friends, Travis Taute, Daryne Joshua and Simon Beesley during their final year at AFDA Cape Town in 2008.

With a second series of Blood and Water given the green light to go ahead, Nosipho’s global aspirations are on the map and the discussion is about to begin.
